What are LED TV’s?

Are they really true LED TVs?

LED TV? - the short answer is no! But they do have an excellent picture - far superior to the standard LCD and even Plasma TVs. The liquid crystals in a LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) all face in one direction. When the electric field is created, the crystals align in the images for the screen.
