GPRS Settings of Various Telecom Operators

Airtel GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage “http://live.airtelworld.com
  • Type in the Account Name “Airtel_gprs
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Select the Authentication Type as Normal
  • Enter the Access Point Name as airtelgprs.com
  • Mark Proxy as “Enabled/yes
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Address as 202.56.231.117
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Port as 8080
  • Specify the Data Bearer as GPRS or Packet Data.

Airtel Live Settings

  • Type in the homepage “http://live.airtelworld.com
  • Type in the Account Name “Airtel_live
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Select the Authentication Type as Normal
  • Enter the Access Point Name as airtelfun.com
  • Mark Proxy as “Enabled/yes
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Address as 100.001.200.099
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Port as 8080
  • Specify the Data Bearer as GPRS or Packet Data.

Aircel GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage “http://google.com
  • Type in the Account Name “Aircel Online
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Now use the preferred Access Point Name as aircelgprs or aircelwap
  • Mark Proxy as “Enabled
  • Enter the Proxy Address as 192.168.035.201
  • Enter the Port as 8081
  • Specify the Data Bearer as Packet Data.

Reliance GPRS Settings

Settings for SMARTWAP

  • Type in the homepage “http://wap.rworld.co.in/gsm/index.wml”
  • Type in the Account Name “SMARTWAP
  • Enter the Access Point Name as SMARTWAP
  • Enter the  WAP Gateway Proxy IP Address as 97.253.29.199
  • Enter the Port as 8080

Settings for SMATRNET

  • Type in the homepage “http://www.google.co.in
  • Type in the Account Name “SMARTNET
  • Enter the Access Point Name as SMARTNET
  • Enter the  WAP Gateway Proxy IP Address as 97.253.29.199
  • Enter the Port as 8080

Settings for MMS

  • Type in the homepage “http://10.114.0.5/mms/
  • Type in the Account Name “RTLMMS
  • Enter the Access Point Name as MMS
  • Enter the  WAP Gateway Proxy IP Address as 10.114.0.13
  • Enter the Port as 9401

Vodafone GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage “http://live.vodafone.in
  • Type in the Account Name “Vodafone_gprs
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Select the Authentication Type as Normal
  • Enter the Access Point Name as portalnmms
  • Mark Proxy as “Enabled/yes
  • Enter the Proxy Address as 10.10.1.100
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Port as 8080/9401, enter 9201, if in Tamil Nadu(You can however try 8080 also )
  • Specify the Data Bearer as Packet Data.

BPL GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage “http://wap.mizone.bplmobile.com”
  • Type in the Account Name “BPL WAP”
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Select the Authentication Type as Normal
  • Enter the Access Point Name as mizone
  • Mark Proxy as “Enabled/yes
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Address as 10.0.0.10
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Port as 8080
  • Specify the Data Bearer as GPRS or Packet Data.

BSNL GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage “http://wap.cellone.in
  • Type in the Account Name “bsnlwap
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Select the Authentication Type as Normal
  • Enter the Access Point Name as wapnorth.cellone.in
  • Mark Proxy as “Enabled/yes
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Address as 010.132.194.196
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Port as 8080
  • Specify the Data Bearer as GPRS or Packet Data.

Idea GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage “http://wap.ideafresh.com”
  • Type in the Account Name “idea_GPRS
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Select the Authentication Type as Normal
  • Enter the Access Point Name as imis
  • Mark Proxy as “Enabled/yes
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Address as 010.004.042.045
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Port as 8080
  • Specify the Data Bearer as GPRS or Packet Data.

Tata Docomo GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage http://google.com
  • Type in the Account Name “Apn
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Select the Authentication Type as Normal
  • Enter the Access Point Name as imis
  • Mark Proxy as “Enabled/yes
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Address as 10.124.94.7
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Port as 8080
  • Specify the Data Bearer as GPRS or Packet Data.

Uninor GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage http://google.com
  • Type in the Profile Name “uninor
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Enter the Access Point Name as Uninor
  • Mark Proxy as “Enabled
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Address as 10.58.10.58
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Port as 8080
  • Specify the Data Bearer as GPRS
  • Enter the linger time as 90
  • You don’t have to enable DNS.

T-mobile GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage http://wap.myvoicestream.com
  • Type in the Profile Name “GPRS
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Enter the Access Point Name as wap.voicestream.com
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Address as 216.155.165.050
  • Enter the Proxy and Server Port as 8080
  • Specify the Data Bearer as Data 

Orange GPRS Settings

  • Type in the Access Point Name as portalnmms
  • Leave the User Name field blank.
  • Leave the Password field blank
  • Enter the Domain Name Service as  10.11.206.51, 10.11.206.50

MTNL  GPRS Settings

  • Type in the homepage “http://wap.google.com
  • Leave the User Name field mtnl
  • Leave the Password field mtnl123
  • Enter the Access Point Name as gprsmtnldel
  • Enter the IP Address Gateway as 172.016.031.010
  • Enter the Port Number as 9201
  • Enter the Circuit Switched Data (CSD) as 17911
